LG: nuove Smart TV con webOS al CES
After the various versions of proprietary NetCast Smart TV platform , a few attempts with Google TV, LG vertices now seem to have decided to stake everything on the webOS operating system as the basis of the ecosystem " smart " new TV . Operating system that was acquired by Korean multinational in late February (see news) and that will now be used from 2014 on the new Smart TV Group .
According to LG, webOS will enable secure user experience much more intuitive and rewarding , as well as to improve cross-platform functionality and multi-tasking. The first models equipped with Smart TV webOS will be presented at CES 2014 in Las Vegas and will be able to count on ARM SoC dual-core 2.2 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM. According to rumors, the new platform based on webOS could be adopted by the Smart TV Alliance, which includes among members of the same LG, but also Philips , Panasonic, B & O , Sharp , Toshiba and Loewe .
